welcome to my travels + thoughts

i'm off again

i'm off again

I’m off to Chile until March! I’m waiting to board the plane now. I’ll have 10 solo days, and 9 days road tripping with Mariya and Jasson. I’ve booked my first two nights at a hostel, and then I guess we’ll see where the days take me. I’m excited for slower traveling and unstructured days. I recognize how lucky I am to have a gig that allows for this incredible flexibility.

These are photos from the last country I traveled solo - the last stop on my big 2018 trip. We actually almost didn’t do this hike (locals told us that it wasn’t worth it). I almost missed our 2am pickup (I woke up at 2am, and sprinted down by 2:10). The clouds almost didn’t clear for sunrise (we reached the top in complete fog). But these almosts led to actuallys that led to photos and memories from one of the most stunning hikes I’ve ever done.

It’s been over a year since I put my 40L Osprey to use. I’m excited to be a dirty backpacker again, and to chase more stories to tell for years to come.
