off the beaten path in byron bay
I wanted to go on the famous lighthouse walk, and was really craving some company - because as much as I love flying solo, some experiences are more beautiful when you can share it with someone.
I'd talked to a guy at a bar the night before for all of five minutes, and thought, who knows? Maybe he'd want to join. So I sent him a message, and a few hours later, I had a travel photographer taking action shots of me climbing down rocks over the ocean.
This is something I hope to take home to my normal, day-to-day life - listening to the "f*ck it, why not" voice. Getting out of my comfortable bubble. Taking the chance to learn from a new friend.
Thanks @perlinsadventureblog for a fun, spontaneous afternoon!
